Attention all Henry County Democrats

Qualifying for the Henry County July Primary Election is from April 26 through April 30 2010, ending at noon on the 30th. A representative from the Henry County Democratic Party will be available to receive qualifying documents and fees at the Henry County Elections and Registration Office located at 345 Phillips Drive in McDonough, 30253 on Monday April 30, 2010 from 9am to 5pm. Qualifying fees for all candidates running for local county office are as follows:

County Commissioner – District 4 and 5 Qualifying Fee $1,318.18
Board of Education – District 4 and 5 Qualifying Fee $501.36
State Court Judge Qualifying Fee $4,222.33
Superior Court Judges Qualifying Fee $5,016.29
Chief Magistrate Judge Qualifying Fee $4,011.21
Solicitor Qualifying Fee $4,063.07

Please have all qualifying documents, signed and notarized where applicable prior to submitting the documents. A notary is available throughout the qualifying period. Please pay all qualifying fees by money order only. Information on qualifying is at www.co.henry.ga.us/Registrars/index.htm.
