FCDP 06/14/09 Meeting Minutes -
 
Call to Order-
 Meeting June 14, 2009 called to order at 2:20 PM 
 
·         Pledge of Allegiance
 
  • Introductions
 
  • Identified committee members who are not active. Plan to call and see if they would like to continue and if not open those seats to other candidates.
 
  • Nominations- two at large positions and vote at next meeting
 
  • Amend By Laws to become compliant with State Board. Review and bring up changes at next meeting.
 
  • Fourth of July Parade- Marilyn Beverly
 
Booth Cumming Fair Ground July 3rd- Need volunteers,4 each shift, shifts are Setup , 3pm-6 pm and 6- 9 pm,9:30 - Midnight
Paraded July 4th Need Volunteers for float. Both on float and to walk around float.
Partnering with Democratic Woman’s Party
Send out invitation to local candidates
 
  • Food Bank – Tammy Tanner-
Discuss next meeting
 
  • Last month’s minutes read and approved- Submitted by Carol Dawkins, Vice Chair
 
  • Treasurer’s report submitted and approved by Ruth Ballard –Treasurer
 
  • Strategic Planning Process (SWOT)
 
We divided into 3 teams of 5 for the Strategy Session
Groups Identified Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats
 
Re convened into one group and identified those group’s findings
 
  • Meeting Adjourned at 5:15 PM
