Update for Feb. 2008 - We are off to a strong start. The Georgetown Dems Meet-and-Greet was a hit. We had more than 60 people show up for the first ever casual gala at the beach in Pawleys Island, S.C.

Hello Democrats:

This is a first-time event here in Georgetown, South Carolina. An idea that has been brewing in my head since Bill Clinton first took office in 1992.

The Nationwide Democratic Billboard will be the main backdrop at our election night party in 2008. I am trying my best to bring life back into our party in South Carolina and Georgetown as well.

Not just my state, mind you. The nation needs to be brought back to the basics of our Democratic party stands for: UNITY!!!

We need unity! This is 2008, people. We need to get our White House back from the Republicans.

What an awesome sight it will be to see when people in Georgetown, South Carolina, walk into the United Steelworkers union hall and witness a jaw-dropping billboard filled with political signs, stickers, buttons, etc. from across the nation.

This billboard will be built with lumber. This is no joke. We are wanting to celebrate ALL DEMOCRATS who have participated in 2007-2008.

It's going to be a party. The billboard will be a dessert. The United Steelworkers of Amercia Local 7898 will be the place to be. It is located at 1515 Butts Street in Georgetown, S.C.

Please, look around the site as it develops. We have a list of who has already contributed. Check and see if your name is there. If you know of candidates in your area, tell them to get on the ball. SEND SOME MATERIAL!!!
