The 2009 Young Democrats of America Convention will be held August 5th-9th in Chicago, Illinois.  This event offers unique training opportunities for Young Democrats to develop skills as organizers, communicators, fundraisers and issue advocates.

Former Vermont Governor and DNC Chairman Howard Dean will keynote the 2009 Convention.  During his tenure as chairman (2005-2009) Democrats reclaimed a majority of statehouses, the US House, the US Senate, and the White House.
