Welcome to my campaign website!
Since 1997 I have been proud to serve as the Representative for Texas House District 90, covering Downtown Fort Worth as well as the Northside, Como, the near Southside, Riverside, and the Hemphill corridor. I believe that I have represented not only the people of my district but also all of those throughout Texas who hold the same progressive values that I have championed throughout my tenure in the Texas House. I have devoted my life to struggling for the environment, for peace, for equality, for consumers, and to protect our citizens from the those that would threaten their interests.
I was the first member of the Texas House to oppose the Speakership of Tom Craddick and I continue to do everything possible to put an end to his reign over the House and his power over the State of Texas. To that end if have worked extensively with the Too Close to Craddick Campaign and other organizations working to take back Texas.
