10th District Chair
POINT: Everybody seems to think Ann Romney isn't like her husband and Republican nominee apparent, Mitt, in regards to being out of touch with those not in the 1% who HAVE to work. Well consider these comments from a "Moms for Mitt" meeting on April 18. "Why should women be paid equal to men? ...if a woman does work, she should be happy just to be out there...and quit complaining that she's not making as much as her male counterparts. I mean really, all this wanting to be equal nonsense is going to be detrimental to the future of women everywhere."
COUNTERPOINT: Only in "Romney-world" could the concept of "equal pay for equal work" be considered nonsense. The only "nonsense" in all this is the possibility that this woman could be our next First Lady and her husband our next President.
