That website will be ready in the next few months. Soon you'll be able to find every single state expenditure in seconds in the comfort of your house.

On Thursday, January 27th, the ND House Political Subdivisions Committee will hear a bill that would require local governments to submit budget data to the state for inclusion on the state's new website.

Tell the House Political Subs Committee to increase government transparency.

Dear House Political Subs Committee Member:

We can and should have good debates about public policy in North Dakota, but there can be no debate about having transparency in local governments. It is a legitimate government expense to help increase transparency.

This is an easy way to increase the public's participation in their local governments.
