Talk Issues

Talk Issues was created by Unhappy Taxpayer and Voter Alliance to inform the public of adverse issues that affect the taxpayers and voters. 

Talk Issues is the the online news source that challenges the public to act on any given issue with their vote and/or money. This section of the online newspaper will challenge the public to educate themselves on the facts of any given issue and act to resolve the problem. 

The statements to follow are alleged sinister and illegal activity submitted by the Unhappy Taxpayer & Voter to the State Ethics Commission.  The issue we want to inform you about involve the following:

ETHICS COMPLAINT:  CEO VERNON JONES AND DEKALB BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS VS VIOLA DAVIS WITH UNHAPPY TAXPAYER AND VOTER

• Which elected officials used their campaign contributions to help fund the Committee for a Better DeKalb (PAC) to influence the taxpayers and voters to pass the 2005 bond referendum?
• Which one of theDeKalb County Commissioners was the only Commissioner to refuse to engage in sinister and alleged illegal activity?
• Which DeKalb County Commissioner used her/his campaign contributions from a totally different elected office  to help finance the Committee for a Better DeKalb (PAC) passage of the 2005 Bond Referendum?   According to Georgia Ethics in Government Act, this is illegal!
• Which elected officials stated they acted as private citizens when they sent out phone messages, mail outs, and used money out of their campaign funds in violation of Ethics in Government Act?

Unhappy Taxpayer and Voter is a grassroots, faith-based, non-partisan movement representing and protecting the interest of taxpayers and voters. We are a community based social action and educational organization. We analyze how taxpayer dollars are spent and disseminate the results to the public.

Unhappy Taxpayer and Voter movement encourage fiduciary responsibility amongst elected officials and educate the public with regards to government fiscal policies and programs. The time has come for taxpayers and voters to hold our elected officials and government agencies accountable.
